In response to concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19 in North Texas, the City of The Colony is taking steps to minimize exposure in the community, which includes closing some facilities and canceling events.

The Colony Public Library offers contact-free curbside pickup for library materials. In-person programming is suspended through the fall.  Summer Reading prizes will be available for pickup beginning August 11.

Take-home craft kits are available to reserve weekly at tcpl.ticketleap.com. Kits sell out quickly but a new selection of crafts is available for reservation every Monday at 10 a.m. through the end of July. Once a reservation is placed, kits may be picked up 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, using our contact-free curbside pickup.

Our Summer Virtual programs can be viewed online, any time:

 The Bubble Wizard

Science Tellers "Dragons: Return of the Ice Sorceress"

 Critterman Safari Guides

Staff are available to answer questions Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and curbside pickup for library materials, craft kits, and printouts is available Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please contact the library directly at 972-625-1900 ext. 2 for more information.
