2024 KIDS SUMMER READING CHALLENGE
JUNE 1 - JULY 27
Keep track of the number of days you read over the summer to earn prizes! The Kids Summer Reading Challenge is open to children ages 0-12. Register online or in-person at the library to join the challenge.
Each participant should choose a daily reading goal - this can be 20 minutes a day, 40 minutes a day, or any daily goal of their choice. Children will earn a prize for every five days they meet that goal, for up to 30 days (or 6 total prizes). Children who complete the challenge by meeting their reading goal at least 30 days over the summer will receive a trophy and be eligible for a grand prize drawing!
*Please note: Daily reading goals do not need to be submitted to or approved by the Library. This goal is only for the participant and/or their guardian's information. Participants will only report the number of DAYS they meet that chosen daily reading goal, not a specific number of books, chapters, and/or pages.

Level 1: Bracelet & Charm [Meet your reading goal for 5 days]
Level 2: Book & Charm [Meet your reading goal for 10 days]
Level 3: Coupons & Charm [Meet your reading goal for 15 days]
Level 4: Book & Charm [Meet your reading goal for 20 days]
Level 5: Bookmark & Charm [Meet your reading goal for 25 days]
Level 6: Book, Trophy, & Charm [Meet your reading goal for 30 days]
The Summer Reading Challenge ends on Saturday, July 27. Once the challenge has ended, participants will no longer be able to track their reading online. Prizes must be claimed at the library by Saturday, August 3.
